Aboriginal man loses bid to access pension early due to lower life expectancy

An Aboriginal man has lost a Federal Court bid to access the age pension earlier than non-Indigenous Australians. The legal team representing Uncle Dennis argued the reduced life expectancy of First Nations people meant they had less time to live on social security payments.
