AFP confirms the immunity of Israeli President Isaac Herzog before his visit to Australia

The Australian Federal Police has confirmed the president of Israel will be protected with head of state immunity and cannot be arrested during his upcoming visit to Australia after seeking independent legal advice. The federal government facing heated criticism over Isaac Herzog's invitation to Australia where he's expected to meet with victims of the Bondi terror attack.
