Africa on the brink of declaring MPOX public health emergency

A surge in cases of MPOX in African countries may trigger an emergency warning, by African authorities. The disease is endemic to parts of central and West Africa. And right now a severe outbreak is taking place in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, where the most infections and deaths have been reported.
