Age verification trial proves under-16s social media ban is viable

Early results from an Australian Government trial show it is technically possible to stop under-16s from accessing social media by using tools like facial recognition to verify age online. But experts warn there’s still a long way to go before the planned teen social media ban comes into effect this December.
