Albanese triumphant after successful Trump sitdown, backs Rudd as ambassador

Anthony Albanese has concluded his lightning visit to the United States, leaving Washington DC this morning with declarations the alliance is in good health. But there remain unanswered questions about what concerns the Americans may still have around the AUKUS submarine deal. The Prime Minister also backed his US Ambassador and has brushed off yesterday's exchange between the President and Kevin Rudd.
