Emergency weather warnings remain in place in the wake of ex-tropical cyclone Alfred. The Bureau of Meteorology says rain and storms persist, with 'intense' flood threats across south-east Queensland and northern New South Wales. Power outages are also continuing in both states. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese says disaster relief payments will begin at 2pm on Tuesday. Reporter Alexandra Jones reports from Beenleigh in Queensland.
