AUKUS supply in doubt over US budget crunch

Defence Minister Richard Marles says the AUKUS pact is on track despite the Pentagon revealing it will halve the amount of submarines it will build next year. The Biden administration has requested US Congress fund just one Virginia-class submarine in the 2025 budget, raising concerns about supply for Australia.
