Australia considers evacuation plans for thousands stranded in Middle East

The US has urged its citizens to leave over a dozen countries in the region, with some limited flights reportedly out of Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Australia's Defence Minister says he's considering contingencies on how to bring home tens of thousands of citizens stranded in the Middle East. Virgin Australia has, today, cancelled at least 19 flights to and from Qatar due to closure of airspace.
