Australia welcomes thousands of new citizens in annual ceremony

Today thousands are celebrating becoming new Australians to mark Citizenship Day. In the 76 years that Australian citizenship has existed, more than 6 million people have taken the pledge of commitment. There are now moves to make some of these traditions more accessible across languages and cultures.
