Australian companies are increasingly banning the use of generative AI like ChatGPT in the workplace, with many concerned the technology could lead to a mass data breach. Launched late last year, ChatGPT quickly erupted in popularity with experts saying it was in the hands of a million people after five days, 100 million by the end of the first month and is now being used by over a billion people. But experts warn with greater integration comes greater risk.
