Australian family could lose farm in global race for rare earth minerals

Australia holds at least four per cent of the world's known rare earth reserves, the fourth largest in the world. As the Federal Government seeks to advance the industry, concerns over the cost of mining them is mounting. SBS reporter Shive Prema travelled to the Wimmera region in rural Victoria, which is becoming a flashpoint in the global race for rare earth minerals.
