Australian government urged to demand an end to conflict in Gaza

Calls are growing for the Australian government to take stronger action against Israel, with one cabinet minister not ruling out further sanctions. A group of crossbench MPs has presented a petition to Parliament on behalf of aid group Medecins Sans Frontieres, which urges for punitive measures against Israeli leaders and military personnel.
