A former US ambassador has warned the Australian Government it may have a limited window to rescue children still in Syrian prison camps. Peter Galbraith has slammed both the Government and The Opposition's positions over the dangers posed in bringing Australian women and children home from Kurdish-controlled northeastern Syria.
