Australian icebreaker Nuyina on maiden marine scientific voyage

Longer than the distance from Sydney's coast to the Blue Mountains, the Denman Glacier in east Antarctica is the focus of the first-ever marine science voyage of Australia's icebreaker Nuyina. The glacier has retreated five kilometres in the past two decades making it one of the fastest-retreating glaciers in east Antarctica.
