Australians warned to brace for power bill hike

Millions of Australians are being warned to brace for significant hikes to their power bills after a new report revealed prices in the nation's electricity market surged to their highest levels on record. The Australian Energy Market Operator's report said wholesale gas prices rose to "unprecedented levels" over the last three months with the biggest contributer coal-fired power station outages.
