The Victorian state government has approved a multi-million-dollar development project, which aims to establish a second capital city in Dandenong, in the outer southeastern suburbs of Melbourne. Dandenong is considered Australia's most culturally diverse community. Local traders, who have been told to vacate their stores, fear this multicultural reputation could be erased.
