Bangarra Dance Theater becomes first Australian recipient of Venice's Golden Lion

Acclaimed First Nations dance company, Bangarra Dance Theatre has been awarded a prestigious Golden Lion by the Venice Biennale. Bangarra is the first Australian recipient, and the first company to receive the honour, usually awarded to individual dancers or choreographers. For Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander viewers the following story may contain images or voices of someone who has died.
