Bank sued for failing to protect customers from scams in world first

In a global first, Australia's corporate regulator is suing one of the world's biggest banks for failing to protect customers from scams. The Australian Securities and Investments Commission found HSBC Australia didn't have adequate controls in place to prevent and detect unauthorised payments.
