Child sexual abuse survivor receives $2.85 mill compensation in case against WA government

A landmark ruling in Western Australia has seen a former ward of the state awarded almost $3 million in compensation after proving the government repeatedly returned him to his abusers. It's the first historical sexual abuse case against the state to go all the way to trial since a royal commission was handed down in 2017.
