Chinese Navy flotilla continues live firing exercise on Australia’s coastline

The Defence Force says it expects an armed Chinese Navy flotilla to travel around Australia's southern coastline as it conducts a series a live firing exercises. Australian and New Zealand defence forces have been jointly surveilling the fleet, but Senate Estimates has revealed Canberra had no prior warning the live exercises had begun.
