An Australian white supremacist who killed 51 Muslim worshippers in New Zealand's deadliest mass shooting in 2019 has told an appeals court he wasn't thinking rationally when he pleaded guilty. The 35-year-old man is seeking to overturn his conviction and is asking for a trial or leave to appeal if one is refused. He's currently serving a life sentence without parole for the attacks at Al Noor mosque and Linwood Islamic Centre in Christchurch.
