Core inflation dip boosts chances of RBA rate cut in February

Economists say the possibility of a February interest rate cut has risen as underlying inflation falls. The latest monthly CPI data is welcome news for the government, as the Prime Minister continues a multi-state tour to spruik Labor's cost-of-living measures.
