Detainees prepare to walk free after immigration ruling

The process to release dozens of immigration detainees is now underway following a landmark High Court ruling, overturning a 20-year-old precedent. Earlier this week, it ruled indefinite detention was unlawful, releasing the plaintiff in the case - a Rohingya man from Myanmar. At least 92 detainees, considered stateless, and another 340 in long-term detention, could soon join them.
