One of the biggest manhunts in Australia has come to an end. Desmond Freeman is believed to have been shot dead in a standoff with police this morning. The self-proclaimed 'sovereign citizen' has been on the run in Victoria's rugged bushland since allegedly killing two constables and injuring another, last August. Police say he was tracked down at a rural property near the town of Walwa in the state's northeast.
