Domestic violence incidents rose 8% in Australia this year

Australia has seen an 8% rise in domestic and family violence related incidents. It's the largest increase since national reporting began in 2019. The annual dataset captures crime statistics from across the country from July 2024 to June 2025, including youth offences, which have recorded a decline for a second year in a row.
