Donations plummet as Foodbank demand rises

Foodbanks across the country are struggling to meet a rising demand, with donations dropping dramatically at a critical time of need. In Victoria, one in 100 people rely on food banks every day. Last year, Foodbank Victoria spent an extra $5 million covering a shortfall in their usual food donations.
