Economist woken up at 2am to be told he'd won the Nobel Prize

US academic Robert Wilson had to walk across the street in his pajamas on Monday (October 12) morning to deliver the news to his fellow Stanford University colleague Paul Milgrom that the two had won the 2020 Nobel Economics for work on auctions hailed as benefiting buyers and sellers around the world of everything from fishing quotas to aircraft landing slots.
