Election campaign pauses for Pope’s funeral

Governor-General Sam Mostyn has confirmed she’ll attend Pope Francis’s funeral on behalf of the government. The leaders’ campaigns were put on hold as they paid their respects. Campaigning continued elsewhere as early voting opened across the country with Labor selling a new women’s safety policy.
