Ex-prime minister warns AUKUS deal may not deliver

A crowd-funded public inquiry into the AUKUS security alliance has heard the pact may not deliver what was promised. It's being led by the likes of Midnight Oil frontman Peter Garrett and a former chief of the Australian Defence Force. Former prime minister Malcolm Turnbull has told the inquiry that of the three partner nations, Australia’s parliament has the most at stake but is the “least curious and the least informed”.
