Independent Senator Fatima Payman has apologised for causing offence after she described Iran as an "incredible place" for women during an interview with an Iran-backed news channel. It comes as the Department of Foreign Affairs reveals the organisation's presence in Australia could be a breach of the government's sanctions regime.
