FBI Director says Capitol riots were 'domestic terrorism'

FBI Director Chris Wray sought to beat back right-wing conspiracy theories suggesting that fake supporters of former President Donald Trump stormed the US Capitol on January 6, telling lawmakers the FBI has "not seen evidence of that." In his opening statement, Wray accused supporters of Donald Trump who carried out the attack on the US Capitol of domestic terrorism and vowed to hold them accountable.
