Federal government scrutiny over migration

New figures from the Bureau of Statistics have confirmed the Federal Government will not meet its target cut to international migration this year. It has fuelled fresh criticism from the Opposition of the way the government has handled the program, but the government says new policies are now in place to curb the numbers.
