Firebombed synagogue made multiple requests for security funding

The Royal Commission on Antisemitism and Social Cohesion has heard how the firebombing of Melbourne's Adass Israel Synagogue has left lasting trauma for its congregants. Faith leaders and heads of Jewish schools gave evidence today — largely focusing on the significant security arrangements they've made in the wake of rising antisemitism since 7 October.
