First Australian and NZ evacuation flights land in New Caledonia

The first evacuation flights have landed in the overseas French territory. The Pacific Island has been rocked by violence for more than a week. French police say they've started to establish control in the capital, Noumea, but some Indigenous Kanak people say their protests will not stop.
