First miners rescued after being trapped underground for two weeks

Rescuers successfully hoisted 11 trapped miners up to safety in a dramatic day of rescue on Sunday, 14 days after an explosion ripped through a gold mine in east China's Shandong Province. All of the miners were given eyeshades to protect them from sudden exposure to daylight after spending two weeks buried underground.
