Flood warnings and evacuations in NSW as wild weather continues

There are warnings of a multi-day flood event in parts of NSW with widespread heavy to intense rainfall expected. More than 220 millimetres of rain fell overnight across the Hunter, Mid North Coast and Central Coast, triggering extensive flooding. Many people have been told to evacuate as schools and businesses closed, and at least 4,000 properties are without power.
