For the first time since 2022, Australia will dig into its petrol reserves

The Australian government will release 20% of its stock of fuel reserves to help the country's shortage, triggered as a result of panic buying. It's the first time the minimum stockpile has been tapped into since 2022, and eats into the country's one month long supply.
