Government delays migration policy announcement

The federal Government has pumped the brakes on a planned immigration policy announcement following cabinet deliberations this week. Home Affairs Minister Tony Burke was set to unveil the proposal in a speech at the national press club on 6 August, but the policy is now on hold. SBS Chief Political Correspondent Anna Henderson explains.
