Government greenlights Sydney to Newcastle high speed rail link

More than one hundred kilometres of tunnels will have to be drilled under greater Sydney, as part of the government's proposed high speed rail link between Newcastle and Western Sydney airport. While planning for the project is underway the high cost and underground design are being scrutinised.
