Government's under 16's social media ban now in effect

Twelve months after the Government legislated a social media ban for teenagers, it has come into force. From today those aged under 16 will be banned from having accounts on a raft of social media platforms. It's a move that is making international headlnes around the world as nations grapple with their own concerns over online safety.
