Help offered to those ripped off by insurer

Thousands of First Nations people scammed by disgraced insurer Youpla, previously known as the Aboriginal Community Benefit Fund, will soon be able to access compensation under a new government support program. For decades, the insurance company made millions selling funeral policies including through Centrelink targeting communities in regional and remote areas before its collapse in 2022.
