Hobart stadium setback as damning independent review released

An independent assessment of a planned stadium on Hobart's waterfront says the project should not proceed, citing concerns around its size and construction costs. But the final decision rests with the Tasmanian parliament and the Government is adamant it can proceed. The state's 2028 entry into the AFL and AFLW competitions is conditional on the stadium being built.
