Household waste spikes during the festive season

Australia's waste levels tend to spike during the festive season with bins teeming with wrapping paper and gift and food packaging. In 2018, Australia set a series of national targets around the recovery of packaging and this year is the deadline. Figures show we're behind on almost all of them.
