Inquiry into sexual violence in the military announced as landmark class action case against the ADF begins

The federal government is announcing an independent inquiry into sexual violence in the Australia Defence Force a year after delivering its final report from the Royal Commission into Defence and Veteran Suicide. At the same time, lawyers leading a class action into sexual violence against female veterans are accusing the Commonwealth of trying to remove any alleged incidents which took place overseas.
