The Israeli Defence Forces say they have killed Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar ending a years-long hunt for the man Israel says was behind the October 7 attacks. The 61-year-old's last moments came in an apartment on the outskirts of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.
