Julia Gutman wins Archibald Prize for Montaigne portrait

At 29 Julia Gutman is one the youngest Archibald Prize recipients, winning for her portrait of singer-songwriter Montaigne. Two indigenous artists, including singer turned painter Zaachariaha Fielding, received top honour in the Sulman and Wynne categories, in what was a colourful and at times theatrical announcement at the Art Gallery of New South Wales.
