Kidney disease drug now available on Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme

Tens of thousands of Australians with chronic kidney disease will be able to access a cheaper and more accessible treatment now available on the PBS. Kidney disease is responsible for one in six hospitalisations each year, and it's hoped the drug’s listing will help curb what experts are calling a national health emergency.
