Labor hoping to introduce preventative detention bills

The Federal Government has confirmed it's made contact with a detainee who went missing after being released from indefinite detention. Labor also confirms it will introduce new legislation to ask the courts to consider re-detaining at least some of those who've been released since the High Court said indefinite detention is unlawful.
