Liberal Party formally opposes Voice to Parliament

The Liberal Party has resolved to actively campaign against the referendum for an Indigenous Voice to Parliament. The long-awaited position was announced after a party-room meeting in Canberra. The party agreed to support constitutional recognition of Indigenous people, but not a constitutionally enshrined Voice to the Parliament and executive government.
