Mastermind arrested as police target secret 'Ghost' app used by crime groups

A 32-year-old Australian man from Sydney has been charged with designing a communication platform for use by global crime syndicates. He was one of thirty-eight arrests made by the Australian Federal Police yesterday in relation to the encrypted phone app called "Ghost". The network of crime gangs using it has spread around the world since its creation in 2015.
